In just over two weeks time, Cuba sustained damage from hurricanes Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike. This left the country and people with the largest destruction seen on the island in over 40 years.

CANADA!
Alison Bodine is a U.S. citizen who was until recently
a student at the University of British Columbia in
Vancouver, Canada. Alison is an activist with the Free
the Cuban 5 Committee - Vancouver. She has been
targeted as a political activist after Canadian Border
Services Agents found antiwar and Cuba solidarity
materials in her car, and has been banned for two
years from Canada.
The
National
Committee to Free the Five in the US has called
for a massive fundraising campaign to raise $250 000 for mass public
awareness about the case of the Cuban 5!
